Urethral stricture (US) is a
common disease among men and is a complex urological
pathology. In recent years, the number of patients with this
disease is growing rapidly and varies from 0.6% to 0.9% of the total
population, depending on the age of the patients. In 46.51% of men over
the age of 45, the main cause of urethral stricture was the result of
transurethral surgery, according to data from SV Zhou and co-authors (21).
